Furch Blue Dc-SW acoustic guitar with 43mm nut and gigbag. The Furch Blue Dc-SW Dreadnought cutaway form acoustic guitar is the replacement model of the recent Furch D21-SW Cutaway guitar. This model has 43mm width nut. NEW CNR (Composite Neck Reinforcement) system included, incorporates a composite reinforcement, which improves neck durability and extends the lifespan of the guitar as a whole. The new Blue Dc-SW has the tortoise texture pickguard with extended transparent pickguard parts to make more protection of the top. Blue Dc-SW or D21-SW Cutaway has been one of the most popular model of the beginning level of Furch. It has solid Sitka spruce top, solid black walnut back and sides with open pore finish. The African mahogany neck has ebony fingerboard and 650mm (25,5") scale length. The bridge is ebony as well. It has Furch chrome tuners. Dreadnought body shape is very popular for hard strumming and bluegrass / country and folk style players or guitarists need the most versatile playability model.The Spruce top has more opened sound with excellent brightness and compared to cedar top. After the guitar had been played, the spruce will have more loudness in the middles. High quality Furch logo gig bag included, but it is available to upgrade to Hiscox hardcase. Furch Guitars Feature Antibacterial Neck Treatment

The neck is, by nature, one of the most handled areas of any guitar. While playing, a number of microorganisms arise, which can have a negative impact on the player's health. Furch has therefore decided to supplement their current full and open pore neck finishes with a certified antibacterial varnish containing silver nanoparticles. These bind to the proteins of microorganisms, reliably destroying them. However, the varnish does not contain any dangerous chemical substances, making it anti-allergenic and extra gentle on the skin.
In addition to protecting the player’s health, the composition of the new antibacterial varnish also has a positive effect on playing comfort. The satin finish is even more smooth which reduces friction at the hand while moving along the neck of the guitar, allowing for faster and more accurate playing.

This new antibacterial varnish is standard on all Furch acoustic guitars with serial number 95787 and higher. These instruments are already available at Furch authorized dealers.
