Atkin OM37 Torrified Sitka top and Aged natural finished acoustic guitar. Atkin Guitars was founded in Canterbury, England, in 1995. Still in Canterbury, they build around 350 guitars a year, each one still handmade. OM body shape is popular with fingerstyle guitar players, but in truth it is a great all-rounder and suits singer-songwriters and folk artists as well. OM37 has built with Torrified solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides. Torrified top ensures that the top is exposed to heat and pressure, so that it has already lost much of its moisture to this treatment. The result is a guitar with a played in character like an older vintage acoustic guitar. Indian rosewood produces tight detailed and dynamic bass response. Neck is mahogany with ebony fingerboard. Atkin Oxblood case included.
