This Gibson SG was born in '81 and required new pots and inspect of electronic parts. It is a nice guitar and got new CTS pots, the Emerson Bumblebee capacitors kept in place as we can't find better ones. The Emerson Audio is a US company selects CTS pots and make replica of vintage oil-paper capacitors with tightest tolerance to get the best audio fidelity and performance. The Bumblebee oil-paper capacitors were used in vintage Gibson guitars from 50-60's and these capacitors made huge effect on the sound and tone of the guitars.
