The Carlos OEM VIP II is an upgraded version of the previous Custom VIP pickup (we have installed nearly 400 pieces until 2019). Main upgrade is that this new pickup system has Vol and Tone controls fitted at the soundhole and a small Led indicates the low battery voltage under 7 Volts. The installation doesn't require any major modification on the guitar, but this job is strongly recommended to make by experienced luthiers only. It is very important to place the flexible transducer correctly under the saddle to avoid unbalanced amplified sounding between strings. The battery placed in a pouch fixed by Velcro into guitar's body. The Carlos VIP II pickups has really transparent and natural sounding with huge dynamic headroom, it responses immediately for every playing details of the player, just it is fast as like a Ferrari.
