To voice Jazzmaster pickup Lollar referenced the original pickups in Jason Lollar’s ‘59 Jazzmaster. The result is a pickup true to the unique and recognizable Jazzmaster sound, but with a more percussive low end and clearer, more articulate midrange than modern stock Jazzmaster pickups. Bridge pickup is also hotter for better volume and tone balance between neck and bridge positions.
