Cornerstone Gladio SC preamp pedal  

Trying to recreate the tone of a legendary guitar player can be very hard, especially when the artist’s tone is made with amazing gear. Like a Dumble amp.

The Gladio journey started with researching Robben Ford’s tone. 

You can not really reach his overdrive sound, if you do not put the clean guitar tone into the equation.

That is probably weird but it is true: if you add a portion of the guitar’s clean sound on top of the overdrive sound (without reducing it) you can get a lot of different tone textures getting very close to SRV sound, in particular the sound gets warmer and you can clearly feel the uncompressed attack of the notes.

This is exactly what the Gladio Single Channel (SC) is designed.

Clean knob together with the compression toggle switch, are opening up to a whole new level of drive experience, feeling almost like you are playing with 2 amplifiers, one clean and one dirty.
