The legendary guitarist Al Di Meola partnered with Ovation’s team to design every aspect of his signature guitar. Handcrafted in Ovation’s flagship workshop in Connecticut, US. The Al Di Meola Signature features premium AAA solid-spruce top with A-bracing. The Deep Bowl composite body gives rich, dynamic sounds, maximum unamplified volume and amazing low end, and it is easier to hold and play then a traditional jumbo guitar. A cutaway shape offers full access to the custom low-profile, 5-piece mahogany/maple neck. The Al Di Meola Signature includes Ovation’s high output pickup and its OP-Pro preamp features a special +4 dB volume-boost switch. OP-Pro Preamp has 3-band EQ, a preset tone enhancement circuit, a battery status light, and a chromatic tuner.
